The Victoria's name is derived from the padded safe, which was popular in the Victorian era. This model has been designed in both a suede and smooth leather seats and pommels, and with piping as shown. Also as shown in the picture below, it may be done in a light taupe suede with contrasting piping on the cantle and pommels.

Most owners also choose to have a decorative pommel and their initials monogrammed on the leaping horn.

Mahogany English Side Saddle

This cute little Hunt Seat side saddle was designed especially for owner, Jodie Surerus-Chapple, La Glace, AB. It has a tapestry seat depicting a hunt scene.

This model also has decorative pommels and a scalloped cantle back.

The model shown has been done with a dark chocolate brown suede seat and pommels. It also has smooth leather piping on the cantle and pommels.

Barbara Agopsowicz of Beaumont, AB, the proud owner, has her initials monogrammed onto the leaping horn.

Basic English Side Saddle

This basic English side saddle is pictured here in dark mahogany skirting with a pale doeskin suede seat and decorative pommels. This version was created for Jada Reed of Chilliwack, BC.

It can also be created in various colors of skirting and seat leathers. It comes with standard English billets, a balance strap and over girth.

Angela Scheidecker of Koblach, Austria is the new owner of this custom-made Victoria side saddle complete with a padded safe. This saddle is named after Elisabeth, the Empress of Austria, who was a famous side saddle rider.

 

Now available are jet black English side saddles. Lori Fisher of Sherwood Park, AB and Maureen O'Hare-Ganz of New London, Ohio, USA are proud owners of this newest model.

This is a saddle made a client in Gallenkirch, Switzerland.

 

Loren Hart of Bakersfield, CA is the owner of this side saddle called the Truly Canadian. It was made with a new style of tree constructed by Rod and Denise Nikkel of Valleyview, AB. The leather is a beautiful mahogany with a chocolate suede seat and pommels.

 

The Flora English  Side Saddle made for Laura and Isobel Kippen of Spruce Grove.

This black beauty has a small floral border adding a little special interest to the otherwise traditional design. Inset is a picture of the detailing on the leaping horn of Laura's saddle. The bear is her personal talisman.

This mahogany saddle was made for Lisa MacBurney of Dragonfly Acres, Langley, BC.

The offside bears her farm symbol and a carved accent scroll. The seat  and pommels are matte smooth black leather. The leaping horn also has a small carved dragonfly. Lisa raises Friesen horses.

All future Tattersall Side Saddles will be fitted with a custom-designed silver maple leaf to represent their "Made in Canada" status.

This black English style saddle was made for Amanda Preston of Riviere Que Barre. It has an offside silver "Yellow Ribbon" concho to honor our Canadian troops. Along with the silver maple leaf it makes a rather striking statement.
